This may be something as simple as a pitcher-type filter to an entire whole house filtration system that will purify and decontaminate water coming into the house. Water filtration may be as simple as a pitcher filter or as complex as an entire water treatment plant. The more complex of these filtration systems are geared towards business rather than residential customers, but the point is that they are becoming more essential in a world where the water supply isn’t entirely safe from contamination. Before we discuss water filtration systems, we should go through the process of water filtration.
Water purification is accomplished through distillation, carbon absorption, microporous filtration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet radiation, and ion exchange, which are the most commonly used.
